Marc Jacobs' new ads feature Victoria Beckham...it really marks the shift from his previously darker point of view, which he derived from the quiet, slightly gothic character of Violet from The Incredibles.

Clad in Jacobs' Reverse Heels and grey knit dress, Mrs. David Beckham describes the images as "humorous and ironic", and I think the juxtaposition of stone-cold-faced Posh Spice with quirky situations works wonderfully in this advertisement.

She captured the essence of the images perfectly when she stated, "Certainly, if you can’t get locked inside a Marc Jacobs store, then trapped inside a Marc bag has got to be the next best thing.”
